The energy division &#8211; Veolia Energia &#8211; is one of the largest producers and suppliers of heat in Slovakia. For more than 25 years it has been providing home heating for more than 90 thousand households in 25 cities. As of 2018, it is also a major electricity producer and provider of support services for the transmission system operator. Within the group, it also provides services for industrial clients and provides energy efficiency solutions for buildings and their comprehensive management.    <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">More at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.veoliaenergia.sk\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">www.veoliaenergia.sk<\/a><\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Reasons for deploying the Maintenance Information System<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The request for the system came from the company&#8217;s management. The requirement was: <\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Ensuring the maintenance process is at least at the same level as in other countries around the world where VEOLIA is active;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>improving the current state of recording, processing and presentation of data from maintenance processes;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>unifying the maintenance process across the company;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>facilitating the work of users in managing and carrying out maintenance;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>using data and new software to better manage the process.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Due to the group settings, Veolia Energia group in Slovakia had a choice of two multinational solutions and in the final decided for EAM from INFOR, now Hexagon.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Implementation process<\/h2>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Implementation began in 2019 with the development of a maintenance management study. Subsequently, an internal discussion on Cloud vs. ON PREMISE solution took place and due to the circumstances with the integration with the ERP system Helios Green, the ON PREMISE solution won out. The system is currently hosted on the cloud at ORANGE. As a result of the local implementation, Veolia Energia Slovensko Group is able to work within the framework of the regulation of network industries in Slovakia and at the same time within the rules of the corporation, which would not have been possible in the corporate Cloud solution due to the impact on other users of this solution in the world.   <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The project continued with the implementation of maintenance processes in 2019-2020. A special feature was that within the structure of the Veolia Energia group in Slovakia, C &#8211; bau, spol. s r.o. provides maintenance services to most of the Slovak branches. We were also able to support such a complicated process in Infor EAM.   <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>By the end of 2021, work on the Infor EAM\/Helios Green interface was completed. The interface consisted of more than 15 separate transfers. Planned launch on 1.  1. 2022 was a success.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In 2022, a ROLL &#8211; OUT solution is planned for other locations in the Slovak Republic.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Benefits of a maintenance information system<\/h2>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>simplification of maintenance processes, including support for individual roles in the process<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>making work easier for users<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>support for investment activities<br\/>&#8211; monitoring and evaluation of costs<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Interface between systems<br\/>&#8211; each worker only works in one (his) system<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>tailored reporting according to requirements<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Customer statement:<\/h2>\n<div class=\"lazyblock-vyjadrenie-Z1Ajnez wp-block-lazyblock-vyjadrenie\"><div class=\"lazy-block-wrapper\">\r\n\r\n\t<p class=\"lazy-block-image\">\r\n\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/inseko.sk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/Svobodova-Veolia-150x150-1.jpg\" alt=\"\">\r\n\t<\/p>\r\n\r\n\t<p class=\"lazy-block-meno\">\r\n\t\tZuzana Svobodov\u00e1\t<\/p>\r\n\r\n\t<p class=\"lazy-block-funkcia\">\r\n\t\tHead of the Tools Department, responsible for implementation C-bau, spol. s r.o. member of the Veolia Energia group in Slovakia \t<\/p>\r\n\r\n\t<p class=\"lazy-block-citat\">\r\n\t\t The decision to use EAM started a long process of optimizing maintenance and unifying the database for us. Inseko is a great support for us, their ideas and solutions for improvement push our ideas even further. EAM is an excellent tool for maintenance management, it can cover the entire process from the actual performance of work and recording of working time, or external costs, to management reports and KPIs, for better management of both people and finances. Connecting EAM with the ERP system will provide us with a comprehensive view of maintenance and where and how effectively financial resources are used.   \t<\/p>\r\n\r\n<\/div>\r\n<\/div><div class=\"lazyblock-vyjadrenie-Z1WaTD8 wp-block-lazyblock-vyjadrenie\"><div class=\"lazy-block-wrapper\">\r\n\r\n\t<p class=\"lazy-block-image\">\r\n\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/inseko.sk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/s_m-e1726218053707.jpg\" alt=\"\">\r\n\t<\/p>\r\n\r\n\t<p class=\"lazy-block-meno\">\r\n\t\tPatrik Bor\u0161\t<\/p>\r\n\r\n\t<p class=\"lazy-block-funkcia\">\r\n\t\tHead of the MaR and Control Systems Department, Eam user C-bau, spol. s r.o. member of the Veolia Energia group in Slovakia \t<\/p>\r\n\r\n\t<p class=\"lazy-block-citat\">\r\n\t\tFrom the perspective of an everyday user of the INFOR EAM maintenance management tool from the position of a department manager, I can say that compared to the previous system, the entire administrative process has been simplified and, of course, accelerated. The savings in time, subsequently financial costs &#8211; maintenance resources, and improved employee productivity are obvious. One of the advantages is detailed control of time worked and the elimination of human factor errors. From the perspective of coordinating planned (preventive and legislative) maintenance, EAM helped us to harmonize the schedules of these works and subsequently work further with the identified deficiencies so that there is no unwanted prolongation of the unsatisfactory state of affairs. Last but not least, I consider the functional interface between EAM and the financial system to be a great benefit, which will significantly simplify the work, the process of purchasing, service procurement, and also speed up other internal processes.
