Vexve Czech Republic: Custom operator scheme design and specific registration workplaces

Vexve Czech Republic, part of the Vexve Group, is a leading European supplier of valves for energy infrastructure and demanding industrial sectors.

Known for its superior product quality, team expertise and reliable partnerships, it aims to be the leader in smart valve solutions for a low-carbon future.

ARMATURY Group, today under the Vexve brand, decided to digitalize its production processes and, in cooperation with INSEKO, deployed the PM TOOLKIT application – a modern solution that brought an immediate effect.

Solution objectives:

  • Get an overview of what is happening in production in real time.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and eliminate losses caused by downtime and inefficiency.
  • Provide operators with all necessary information in an ergonomic, clear and accessible interface.

Digitization results:

Today, Vexve Czech Republic has detailed data from more than 80 production lines – including production times, outputs and reasons for downtime. The solution was implemented in several phases, from pilot deployment in 2019 to full integration into the production environment.

Operators work with a fully customized screen, which is available not only on conventional panels, but also on large-screen monitors – ideal for displaying drawings and technical documentation.

The solution also features the use of more than 20 tablets, which increases the flexibility of work at the workplace. The application is fully integrated with the IFS ERP system and AG Admin planning software, ensuring a smooth flow of data across departments.

How does it work?

The operator logs in to the device via an RFID chip, selects an order and operation, and then records the sorting, start and end of production or downtime. The solution also uses barcode readers and color-coded order statuses for better orientation.

Orders are selected from the integrated AG Admin production plan. After clicking the open order button, the embedded AG Admin application is launched, where the operator has access to the order structure and other detailed information: drawings, data on the previous, current and next operation, technological process, history, production errors, inspection plan or welding process.

Key benefits of the solution:

  • Redesign of the PM TOOLKIT application according to the needs of Vexve Czech Republic.
  • Introduction of registration workstations – operators can log in to multiple virtual workstations from any PMT client.
  • Use of large screens and affordable tablets.
  • Collection and visualization of data from workplaces and key KPIs.
  • Rapid identification of bottlenecks and causes of inefficiency.
  • Increasing transparency and motivation of production teams.

Vexve Czech Republic thus confirms that an investment in the digitalization of production is an investment in competitiveness. The solution from INSEKO has become an integral part of their efforts for continuous improvement and innovation.
