What did the first year of Octave Connect bring?

The first Octave Connect user conference for Slovakia and the Czech Republic is behind us, and we are taking away from it a lot of stimulating discussions, interesting meetings, and valuable experience in the field of digitalization and business process management.

From the very first presentations and discussions, it was clear that Octave Connect successfully builds on the best of Hexagon conferences. The meeting of experts from the Czech Republic and Slovakia brought together a number of inspiring conversations, practical experiences, and insights into where digitalization is heading in various industries.

During the conference, we introduced the EAM solution as a multiplatform for supporting the digitalization of corporate processes. Today, EAM forms an important part of the Octave family of solutions and brings organizations an effective tool for managing assets, processes, documentation, and data in a single environment.

“Today, EAM represents an important part of the Octave family of solutions. It brings organizations an effective tool for managing assets, processes, documentation, and data in a single environment. It is the interconnection of individual solutions and their mutual synergy that create significant added value for customers in their digital transformation,” said Martin Bukovinský, CEO of the company.

We were also very pleased with the interest in the professional seminar, in which our colleagues Rastislav Turjak and Robert Hajduk spoke. Rastislav presented the authentic story of SSD, a.s. and its journey with the implementation of EAM from the initial idea to the daily use of the system in practice. Robert then added a technical perspective on the solution and presented other functionalities that help organizations move digitalization to a higher level.

The conference also confirmed that digitalization is no longer a topic of the future. It is becoming a natural part of the everyday functioning of organizations, and it is increasingly becoming clear that success does not depend only on technologies, but especially on their effective use.

“I’m glad I was able to be a part of the first year of Octave Connect. If the ambition of the new brand was to build on Hexagon’s legacy while opening a new chapter, then judging by the energy in the room and the number of interesting discussions, it succeeded. I’m glad we were able to talk not only about technologies, but also about how to use them effectively for the benefit of people, processes and results,” reviewed by Martin Bukovinský.

Another powerful experience was the evening surprise in the form of a performance by the Czech Philharmonic with film music. The exceptional artistic performance was appreciated by the audience with a long standing ovation and became a symbolic highlight of the successful event.

We would like to thank the organizers Zdeněk Kloza and Jakub Svatý for the professional preparation of the conference and all the participants for the many inspiring meetings. We are already looking forward to next year.
