Hexagon is changing to Octave: what it means for our clients

The technology company Hexagon AB, whose software solutions INSEKO has been using for a long time in its projects, is entering a new stage.

Its software part is being transformed into a separate Octave brand, which represents a significant shift in the field of data and infrastructure solutions.

The change is not just about the brand itself. The transformation also includes the rebranding of key products – for example, the Hexagon EAM solution will now be known as Octave Attune EAM.

For INSEKO, this is an important step towards even more powerful and intelligent tools for clients.

From software to “intelligence at scale”

The newly established company Octave is being built as a standalone software and SaaS player with a clear ambition – to transform complex and often fragmented data into usable decisions.

Businesses today face increasing complexity – from opaque data to high demands on security and reliability. Octave responds to these challenges with a platform that connects data across the entire infrastructure and asset lifecycle.

Stronger focus, faster development

The creation of Octave is part of a broader trend in the technology sector – the separation of software solutions into separate units in order to accelerate innovation and respond more flexibly to market needs.

Po dokončení procesu oddelenia, ktorý je plánovaný na rok 2026, bude Octave fungovať ako globálna spoločnosť s tisíckami zamestnancov a zákazníkmi po celom svete.

Benefits for INSEKO clients

From the perspective of INSEKO’s clients, this step represents, above all, an opportunity.

A stronger focus on software, data integration and artificial intelligence delivers:

  • better connection of systems and data,
  • more accurate decision-making in real time,
  • greater efficiency in infrastructure management,
  • new possibilities for cost and process optimization.

“We see the transformation of Hexagon to Octave as a natural step in the development of modern software solutions. For our clients, this means even greater emphasis on data work, automation and intelligent process management.”

“From our perspective, it’s about strengthening the technologies we’re building on. We expect faster development, new functionalities, and even better support for decision-making in practice,” says Martin Bukovinský, director of INSEKO.

Continuity and development of solutions for our clients

INSEKO will continue to provide its solutions built on Hexagon EAM/Octave Attune EAM technologies and help clients navigate an increasingly complex data environment.

Regardless of the brand change, the goal remains the same: to deliver reliable, modern, and data-driven solutions that help organizations make better decisions every day.
